Lieutenant Governor Bio

Hello, my name is Kelsey Perkins and I’m a junior at Marshfield High School.  I currently live and attend school in my hometown of Marshfield, Missouri. Because I enjoy school and helping people, I have been involved in many clubs throughout elementary and middle school. When I entered high school and found Key Club, it quickly became my main priority.

I have been in Key Club since my freshman year. Since joining Key Club, I have served as secretary of my home club and have been project chair. Both of these positions have required a lot of time and hard work. That work and responsibility has prepared me for the work as the Division 9 Lt. Governor.

At Marshfield High School we participate in many service projects. My favorite service project was a clothing drive for the local elementary school children. Clothing drives are done all the time, but this one was special. Each item (socks, underwear, and pajamas) was purchased specifically for a child in need. Overall we helped 86 school children and involved eight other organizations in the effort.  We were so successful that even the Superintendent’s Office got involved.

As lieutenant governor, I have several goals. I would like to increase communication, build better relationships with the clubs in the division and at the end of the Key Club year; I would like to see more clubs attend the District Leadership Conference. As the Division 9 lieutenant governor, I hope to achieve these goals with your help.
